There is a possibility to allow users to subscribe to profile feeds and follow friends updates, from their profiles. We are also subscribing to *external* feeds
Given the usefulness of a user oriented component to the success of a site, improving performance is a constant issue on our minds, we will like to move this to stability as soon as possible
